David Trubridge Kina Pendant Light Coloured - 1 Side

David Trubridge Kina Pendant Light Coloured - 1 Side

Designed by David Trubridge, this lamp with symmetrical curves is inspired by New Zealand sea urchin, called 'Kina'. Its light and exquisite look will brighten up all interiors whatever the room you hang it on, and the shadows on your wall will be delightful. Eco-friendly and responsible, this ceiling light is made from sustainable (FSC) bamboo, delivered in a kit set which size represents only a few percent of the final size of the object and contains a 2m long plastic cable. "Kina is the Maori name for the local sea-urchin. Under the spines the shell is shaped like this with similar surface patterns. I saw this tiny one in Antarctica, sunk in the sea ice in a hollow that was made when the shell absorbed the warmth from the sun and melted the ice around it ' an exquisite jewel. Our kitsets significantly reduce freighting, which is one of our ways of doing what we can to help preserve our beautiful sea and land environments.' - David Trubridge
