Louis Poulsen PH Septima Pendant Light

Louis Poulsen PH Septima Pendant Light

Considered to be one of Poul Henningsen's most refined lighting pieces, the PH Septima pendant was first exhibited in 1928 as a prototype at the Danish Museum of Decorative Arts, and has only recently been reissued by renowned lighting manufacturer, Louis Poulsen.

Based on the famous three-shade system, the PH Septima pendant has four extra shades inserted between the three basic ones resulting in a seven-shade glass crown. Constructed entirely out of Italian borosilicate glass, the pendant emits a glare-free, downward directed light, while radiating a delicate glow.

From shade to shade, frosted glass alternates with clear glass to diffuse the light even more softly.

Hung by a brass ceiling mount, you can place the PH Septima pendant in a range of interiors, from traditional to contemporary.
